New Study Links Maternal Thyroid Health to Autism Risk.

A large-scale study published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism reveals that persistent thyroid hormone imbalance during pregnancy may significantly increase the risk of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in offspring. Researchers analyzed data from over 51,000 births and found a clear dose-response pattern: the longer the imbalance persisted across trimesters, the higher the autism risk.
